Interviewing can feel like stepping into the unknown — especially when you’re not sure who’s going to be on the other side of the call (or the room). At Grifols, we believe in creating a clear, respectful, and human-centered candidate experience. Part of that is helping you understand who you’ll be speaking with and why they’re involved in your journey.

Whether you’re attending an assessment day or moving through individual interview rounds, here’s a quick guide to the key people you’re likely to meet — and the role each of them plays in the process.

1. A Representative from the Recruitment Team

Your journey typically begins with someone from our Recruitment Team. This person is your main point of contact during the early stages and helps guide you through the process. They’ll:

  • Provide an overview of what to expect
  • Share practical information about timelines and formats
  • Help answer any general queries you may have
  • Be present during key touchpoints such as assessment days

Their role is to make sure you feel prepared, supported, and informed throughout your interview journey.

2. The Hiring Manager

You’ll also meet the Hiring Manager — the individual who leads the team that’s hiring for the open role. This is the person you’ll be reporting to if you’re selected for the position.

  • The Hiring Manager brings deep insight into the position and is responsible for evaluating:
  • Your technical or functional capabilities relevant to the role
  • How your experience aligns with current team needs
  • Your potential to grow within the role and contribute to team goals

This conversation is often more role-specific, and it’s a great opportunity for you to ask about team dynamics, current projects, and what success looks like in the position.

3. HR Admin (Post-Offer Stage)

If you’re successful and receive an offer (yay!), you’ll hear from someone on our HR Admin team. They handle all the logistical and documentation-related aspects of the offer, such as:

  • Sending your offer letter and employment contract
  • Providing necessary onboarding information
  • Assisting with any formalities before your start date

They help ensure a smooth and welcoming transition from candidate to new joiner.

Creating a Thoughtful, Transparent Experience

Everyone you meet during the Grifols interview process is here to create a meaningful and well-rounded experience — one that allows you to evaluate us, just as we’re evaluating you.

Because interviews are more than assessments — they’re the start of a potential journey together.
